Discover the story behind this artwork
This vintage advertising poster presents the Anton Riemerschmid liqueur factory in Munich. Two women in long burgundy dresses flank the brand name, each holding a small glass. The inscription “Gegründet 1835” appears beneath the city’s name.
Slender figures, flowing drapery and an ochre background create a warm colour palette. The horizontal layout places the lettering in the centre, with one figure on either side. The curves of the dresses echo the lettering of the brand name.
This reproduction suits a living room, dining room or home bar inspired by vintage advertising. Its burgundy and brown tones complement wood and warm materials, while the balanced composition keeps the lettering easy to read.
