Botanical and animal immersion
Immerse yourself in a lush landscape with this art print of the Brazilian Wildlife Pl19 Atlas, which captures the visual and scientific richness of the original work. The eye is immediately drawn to the dense composition, where each species appears organized like a living catalog: birds with contrasting plumage, mammals sketched with precision, and abundant vegetation serving as a backdrop. The hues range from deep greens and earthy ochres to vibrant touches, creating a balance between naturalistic realism and graphic elegance. This printed version transforms scientific detail into visual poetry, offering an atmosphere that is both studious and contemplative—perfect for those wishing to combine knowledge and aesthetics.
Rodolpho von Ihering, master of observation
Rodolpho von Ihering's art is rooted in the naturalist and documentary tradition of the 19th and 20th centuries, where scientific precision meets artistic sensitivity. Naturalist and illustrator, von Ihering contributed to spreading knowledge of Brazilian fauna through detailed plates that became references for scientists and enthusiasts alike. Influenced by great naturalists and encyclopedic illustration, his work stands out for the clarity of forms and finesse of line. This art print pays homage to his legacy by offering the clarity of a reference painting while preserving the warmth and vitality of the original plate.
