Julian Onderdonk, master of American Post-Impressionism
Julian Onderdonk's art is rooted in the Impressionist landscape tradition, adapted to the lights and plains of the American South in the early 20th century. His famous works reveal a talent for capturing seasonal light variations and rural tranquility. The artist's biography sheds light on the genesis of this art print Un matin de novembre: a sensitive vision of the landscape, inheriting Impressionist tradition but resolutely personal in color choices and economy of forms.
