Her dress and veil sweep upwards above the dark current, reinforcing the precarious movement of the scene.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eA scene inspired by Hamlet\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe subject comes from Queen Gertrude’s account in Act IV, Scene 7 of \u003cem\u003eHamlet\u003c\/em\u003e: Ophelia tries to hang her flower garlands from a willow before falling into the brook.
